Hi, I’m Crystal!
I’m the owner-operator of Psynchronicity and creator of the Art of Becoming Infinite™ signature program for personal and spiritual transformation.
My goal is to help you process deep-seated trauma, identify limiting beliefs, cultivate self-love, and re-cover your full potential.
I believe life is a highly subjective experience and accept and support your personal experiences for how they affect you, not how the world around us defines them.
I meet you where you are, and support you as you merge into a state of greater awareness.
I use embodiment practices such as active imagination, breathwork, journaling, somatic experiencing, and yoga to help you prepare for your personal and spiritual transformation. I bring compassion and a grounded spirit to our sessions, creating a safe environment for you to explore your most vulnerable parts.
Much of what I’ve learned and put into practice with my clients is borne from my own transformational journey.
A few years ago, after experiencing several personal crises within the short space of five months, I knew I needed to re-evaluate how I was living life. Still, it wasn’t until my nervous system had become so dysregulated that I couldn’t run a mile without my body shutting down and I was diagnosed with subclinical autoimmune disease that I was forced to confront the early childhood trauma and self-limiting beliefs that I had let define me for most of my life.
In short, I was being called to awaken!
I had already spent numerous stints and thousands of dollars in talk therapy, started a yoga and meditation practice, and spent hundreds of dollars on self-help books. Each of these provided temporary relief, but none helped me get to the root cause of my suffering.
Eventually, I found my way to plant medicine and began the long journey home to Self.
Along the way, I processed sexual and developmental trauma, learned to identify toxic behavioral patterns and how to regulate my nervous system. I built self-esteem, learned how to set boundaries and, most importantly, I cultivated unconditional love for myself and a deep sense of gratitude for life.
Today, I’m the best version of myself, healthy and leading a fulfilled life.
I believe the path to wholeness is through Self-love.
Qualifications
I’m a Certified Psychedelic Preparation and Integration Coach, Certified Yoga and Breathwork Instructor and am currently enrolled in the Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Certificate Program with The Embody Lab. I hold a PhD in science and engineering and use my advanced critical thinking and analytical skills to engage with complex problems and ideas in our work together. I have also studied functional medicine health coaching and nervous system health and hygiene, and actively chose not to certify in either area. Instead, I am focused on expanding my knowledge base in more qualitative and experiential ways. In my previous career as an international water and sanitation expert, I travelled extensively working with vulnerable communities and indigenous peoples across Africa and Latin America.
My theoretical approach to healing the Mind and understanding the various parts of Self is loosely informed by Jungian archetypes, which provides an easy-to-understand framework on which to start your personal and spiritual transformation.
My approach to healing the Body is based on polyvagal theory and the principles of neuroplasticity; that is, the nervous system’s ability to modify, change and adapt structurally and functionally.
My theoretical approach to healing the Spirit is partially informed by participatory theories as they apply to spirituality; that is, an embodied, relational and inquiry-driven approach to the Self, the Other, and the Spiritual.
